Join us in ‘Finding Your Roots’ on Saturday, September 29th from 10 am to 4 pm. Visit Culture Days at Manitoba Genealogical Society, Unit E – 1045 St. James Street at Ellice (enter off the Brick parking lot) Explore your genealogy and family history with lots of free assistance to guide you on your path to discover your past. Take a tour of our Library and Resources during our interactive Open House. Ask a researcher how to start, where to look and tips on methods and resources you might try. Explore our online catalogue of books, reference material and our searchable database MANI (Manitoba Name Index) with 1.5 million records of Manitoba names.
Our family friendly day will include a family tree art project for the younger visitors – they can stencil their own tree and add finger painting branches while you visit.
