Description:
Spanish Water Dogs originally used as waterfowl retrievers and at present used for truffle hunting due to superior noses for scent work. They are small to medium size dogs ( females 24 to 32 lbs, males 28 to 35 lbs.) with curly, wooly, non shedding coat that is considered hypoallergenic. They are athletic, agile, smart, eager to learn and eager to please, loyal and affectionate. They love water, digging, hiking, great retrievers and love to cuddle too.
