From our experience of raising and breeding pugs we have found them to be easy to house train and are a very clean breed of dog that is low in hygiene maintenance. There silky short coat makes them easy to brush and maintain and because they are technically not hypoallergenic they have an undercoat which makes them a great small dog to have in Canada’s colder climates. The pug is overall a great family dog if you are looking to add to your family, the loyalty and love they show is unmatched to any other breed which is why we love the pug!
