Description:
If you are interested in an IT career, PCPI will be delivering its second initiative in the Youth in Technology, (YiT ) geared to get your IT career on track. YiT is funded by the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Employment which targets vulnerable and newcomer youth, 16 - 29 years old.
This program is designed to provide unemployed youth with the necessary technical and soft skills including professional connections needed to secure sustainable employment.
Each delivery of the training initiative will engage the participants in a 17-week (4 months) hands-on hardware and network computer training in Mississauga, as well as job search preparation and customer service training.
The second initiative will run from August 4, 2015 to November 27, 2015. Through this program, eligible unemployed youth will obtain support in attaining the CompTIA A+ and Cisco CCNA Certifications. Upon certification, job placement and ongoing support will automatically be available to all participants. This however is based on the participant's commitment to be in attendance Monday to Friday from 9 am to 3 pm.
Registration is open now via http://www.pcpi.ca/youth_in_technology.php!
