Description:

Swachh Uttar Pradesh is an initiative by the Lucknow Nagar Nigam (Lucknow Municipal Corporation) under the guidance of the Urban Development Department (UDD) under the Swachh Survekshan 2021 also known as SS2021 (the world’s largest cleanliness survey under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan) which is an annual survey of cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation in cities & towns across India (aiming to make a plastic-free & garbage-free country) organized every year by Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) which is now in the process of conducting the sixth edition of the survey to rank all cities under the Swachh Bharat Mission-Urban (SBM-U) with the Quality Council of India (QCI) as its implementation partner. The campaign follows the Clean India Green India initiative by the Government of India (GoI)
The Swachh Uttar Pradesh includes several Sub-Campaigns like Mera Pradesh, Mera Prangan | Main Hoon Uttar Pradesh | Hamare Safaikarmi Hamare Superhero | Hum Sab Hain Hero Hamara Plastic Waste Hai Zero accompanied by several other sub-campaigns to bring about an attitudinal change, behavioural change & a good habit formation amongst the citizens of Uttar Pradesh.
