Peace Agencies Ltd. has an immediate opening for an Office Manager.

The Candidate must have the following attributes:

Duties, include but not limited to:

ØGreet clients upon arrival – show them to meeting rooms, offer refreshments, etc.

ØBook appointments and prepare meeting rooms/files as needed

ØUtilize a multiline telephone system, various office equipment i.e. computer, scanner, fax, printer, postal machine

ØAttend to emails/postal mail/courier deliveries/client requests/staff requirements

ØMeeting minute-taking and preparing agendas for these meetings

ØGeneral office duties: filing, cleaning – including Covid-19 sanitation measures, inventory/ordering supplies, maintenance of office equipment

ØConduct research as requested by advisors and/or Executive Assistant

ØServe as backup for Executive Assistant and administration support for all agents, as needed

ØBookkeeping/Basic accounting

Qualifications:

ØAdministration diploma plus 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience – equivalent experience will be considered.

ØExtremely computer literate with proven proficiency in Office 365 – emphasis on Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint

ØGood working knowledge of social media i.e. Websites, Facebook, Skype, Zoom, etc.

ØFamiliar with using office equipment i.e. faxes, photocopiers, printers, scanners, etc.

ØInsurance/financial knowledge an asset but training will be provided

ØSage 50/bookkeeping knowledge is essential

This position begins as part-time, with a short, very intensive training period, leading to full-time with medical benefits available after the 3-month probation period plus room for advancement.
