Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Hand-eye co-ordination, Ability to distinguish between colours, Attention to detail, Manual dexterity, Combination of sitting, standing, walking
Area of Specialization: Seamstress, Tailor
Area of Work Experience:Repair, Tailoring, Alterations, Restyling, Designing, Dressmaking
Type of Materials:
Cotton or synthetic, Satin, Polyester or synthetic, Textiles and leather, Nylon, Furs and skins, Velvet or pile fabrics, Silk
Specific Skills:
Make made-to-measure garments according to customer and manufacturing specifications, Fit, alter and repair garments as required, Operate sewing machines or sew by hand, Mark, cut and sew fabric
Personal Suitability:Team player, Client focus, Organized
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience:7 months to less than 1 year
Languages: English
