Description:

Seeking bright, young leaders who are up for the challenge of creating a project nation in the Edmonton area. If you are seeking leadership experience, wish to continuously develop your character, and if you want to take part in the creation of a brand new model country, this challenge may be for you.

This volunteer position offers opportunity to network with like minded people and develop vital skills and experience that can be utilised in school and career.

Candidates for this project:
-Are at least 18 years of age and reside in the Edmonton area
-Read books on leadership and character development
-Enjoy serving the community through charitable acts
-Are open minded, willing to work with people who have different beliefs
-Like to create and have a sense of humour
-Want to learn new skills
-Are reliable and versatile
-Are able to meet, in person, at least once a month

What is a Project Nation?
"A micronation is an entity intended to replace, resemble, mock, or exist on equal footing with recognised independent states. Some micronations are created with serious intent, while others exist as a hobby or stunt." -MicroWiki

A Project Nation is a more serious attempt to exist on equal footing as a "Macronation", or a recognised nation. Often the project nation will come into existence for the purpose of experimenting political, government, or economic theories.
