Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES: You are responsible for managing the day-to-day requirements of an outpatients orthopedic physiotherapy clinic. Your responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
Preparing reports and overseeing operation.
Maintaining clinic area, equipment and inventory.
Providing quality Physiotherapy Services including assessment, intervention, program planning and implementation, discharge planning etc.
Performing consultations, assessments and educational presentations as needed.
Working as part of a team, including Kinesiologists and occupational Health Nurses.
Other duties as assigned.
IDEAL CANDIDATE: the ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or approved equivalent, and is licensed to practice Physiotherapy in the province of Manitoba. Ergonomic training and certification in Functional Capacity Evaluation/Physical Demands Analysis would be an asset, as would clinical experience that is outpatient orthopeedic or industrial rehabilitation-orientated. You are customer oriented and self motivated. Your excellent interpersonal skills shine in a team environment. You are comfortable in a windows and MS Office environment, and are a proven leader, coach and/or mentor. We welcome new grads to apply for this position.
Qualifications: - 2 to 5 years experience (Preferred) in Healthcare and Social Assistance (Hospitals & Homecare) (Preferred)
