Description:
Alpha Publishing Group is hiring a full-time production coordinator for a bi-monthly magazine. Responsibilities include ad traffic, assisting with the magazine dummy, receiving artwork from advertisers, composing ads, page layout, proofreading, uploading PDFs to the magazine's web site, invoicing, and maintaining mailing list databases. Knowledge of Microsoft Access and Dreamweaver (Windows), and QuarkXPress and Photoshop (Macintosh) are a definite asset.
The ideal candidate would have excellent organizational skills, knowledge of computer file formats, and would be working closely with the art director and sales reps in a highly cooperative environment. Located on Sea Island, Richmond.
Training to start May 1st.
