Description:
Purpose of Position:
To assist in the programming functions of web-based projects and to maintain internal company site.
Key Accountabilities:
• Assists in programming of new sites
• Codes simple CGI’s using scripting languages, often by customizing off the shelf scripts
• Codes advanced HTML and uses code validators
• Creates simple connections between a website and database
• Performs minor and routine updates for clients
Functional Competencies:
• Expertise in web development
• Navigation and information architecture expertise
• HTML
• Proficiency in coding languages (Javascript, DHTML)
• Proficiency in web programming (Cold Fusion, ASP)
• Ability to develop customizable scripts
• Database design
• Attention to detail and quality
