I have a timeshare with Geo Holiday, you can visit their site by going to Google and typing "geo holiday"

This timeshare is based on points, so you won't get stuck to the same place and same time every year. Points can be used on the following:

Resort Stay
Hotel Stay
Car Rental
Plane Tickets

I have 3,000 points every 2 years, which I normally use about 1,500 points per year. 1,500 points basically equals to a week stay in a resort in Mexico or Florida.

Geo Holiday has many home resorts all over the world, however if you want to go to another resort, you can do so by converting your points to RCI and you will then book your resort with RCI. You can use your points anywhere in the world.

I am trying to get rid of this one because I have another one that my hubby and I use and we don't have enough vacation time every year to use all our points.

Now, I owe about 34 months on this timeshare, so if you take over you will only be paying for the monthly fee of 262.11 and after 34 months, the whole thing is yours and you can use it for the next 40 years - or pass it on to your kids or grandkids.

This is the basic package, of course if you so desire to have more points, Geo can sell you more for sure.

Now, there is a maintenance fee of about $300 a year, this will be your responsibility as well if you take over my timeshare.

Also, there will be a fee for the title/deed transfer we would be willing to pay 50% of the fee and you cover 50%. Approx. the transfer fee is about 500 bucks.

This is way cheaper than going to the actual seller as you don't have to worry about downpayment!
