I believe that all students have the potential to learn and excel in the sciences and math. I bring years of experience as a tutor and teacher working with middle school, high school and college level students, as well as students who are home schooled. I offer personalized tutoring that is tailored to fit each student’s needs. My specialties include algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and pre-calculus, biology, integrated science, as well as test preparation for the SAT, ACT and high school entrance exams. I believe in the importance of obtaining help to identify specific gaps in knowledge which once resolved can allow students to succeed at school as they never have before. I offer in-home tutoring sessions for students living in north and central Naples, as well as Bonita and areas west of 41. My schedule is flexible and alternative locations such as a library or quiet setting are fine as meeting areas. My goals for students are first and foremost to increase their grades, but also to build self-esteem, to learn faster with less study time, and to break the boredom or tediousness of learning. Learning can be fun and it can be done efficiently with the right study skill strategies and learning techniques.
