Description:
We are a fun new theatre company looking for energetic and outgoing male models to appear in our entry for the Toronto Pride Parade 2008.
It starts with a meet and greet barbeque on the evening of Sunday June 22 where you can have a get to know some of our staff and your fellow models/event crew. At that time we will also provide you with some training, fit you with your uniforms and answer any questions you might have.
On Sunday June 29 around noon you would report to our ops center downtown (location TBA) to change into your costume (most likely just briefs and possibly some accessories such as sunglasses, ties, cuffs, etc) and perhaps have a logo painted on your chest in makeup. Following that, you’d meet the rest of our contingent at the Parade staging site (TBA) and get ready to have some fun. Your duties during the parade are simply to ride in a convertible, sing along to a soundtrack, wave and throw give-aways to the spectators.
You should be between 18-45, well built, clean, outgoing, energetic, and personable. We will provide sunscreen, some cold bottled water, etc. but we do ask you to provide your own footwear (running shows are fine). All in all it should be a wonderful event with a group of very enthusiastic and fun people.
To apply please send a clear head shot and physique shot (a close picture of your face and a photo of yourself shirtless) as well as a brief description of yourself and any modeling or acting experience you may have had (no experience needed). We will be holding interviews during the day May 15 and 16.
