Description:
Full-time and or part-time caregiver (live-in) required to look after 78 year old woman with Progressive Supra Nuclear Palsy. She is in a wheelchair and needs to be transferred to the couch, bed and washroom on a daily basis. She weighs 180 pounds and therefore the applicant must be strong and able to understand body mechanics. Other duties include light cooking and cleaning. Applicant must be reliabe, mature and committed to her work. References required. Elderly person is of West Indian ancestry and therefore feels more comfortable with caregivers with a similar background. We have also had good Filipina caregivers in the past as well.
