Located on the Northwest corner of King and Shaw (which is just West of Bathurst along King). King West Home Daycare provides a warm, nurturing atmosphere where children learn through play. Daily educational activities such as craft time, circle song time, and circle story time. Fine motor and cognitive activities such as puzzles, home made non-toxic play dough and colouring. Gross motor activities such as outdoor playtime, and of course plenty of free play time to learn social development and problem solving skills with other children. Drop-in centre visits are made once per week on Monday mornings. Hot healthy meals, snacks, milk and juice provided. Provider is CPR & First-Aid trained, has previously worked in a commercial daycare center and has been running her own private home daycare for the past 4 years, Child Care Certification Diploma obtained.
