JUNE 7th / 23 HOUSE GARAGE SALE IN AFFLUENT NEIGHBORHOOD
On Saturday June 7th, the neighborhood East of Bathurst & South of St. Clair Ave. West are having their annual garage sale. It is an affluent neighborhood so there tends to be lots of high value items at amazing bargains. St. Clair West subway station is 2 short blocks from my house.
Wells Hill Avenue is the hub of the action with 11 of 23 participating homes on that street. The sale officially starts at 9am, but early traffic is welcome on my lot.
June 7th is the big day, with most sellers open from 9am to 3pm. If the weather is poor, Sunday June 8th is the rain date from 9am to 2pm.
I am located at 65 Wells Hill Ave and am selling an assortment of things including 10 crates of 12" vinyl records and some CDs, professional DJ Mixer, computer stuff, LaCie hard drives, electronics including TVs, VCRs, stereo components and speakers, iPods, portable CD players, sporting equipment including 2 bikes, brand name clothing and hats (both new and used) furniture, office supplies including a fax machine, printers, Canon photo paper and ink, cameras and more goodies. I keep finding more stuff to sell, so there is going to be a lot to choose from.
For the vinyl diggers, the collection is mostly dance music spanning 15 years of every genre imaginable. There is also a lot of hip-hop and reggae, some rock and other rarities, but no jazz or music from the 60's and 70's. All the vinyl belonged to a club DJ and is in great condition.
I have tons of good quality, good condition stuff, at a great price, so come by and pick up a deal. Look out for the statue of Jack Daniels on my lawn…that’s my house.
