Description:
With experience in clinical research coordination, database development, sales & marketing, teaching and public health research, I wish to submit my application for a clinical research associate position – home-based. For the past five years I have engaged in clinical trial management, developing and maintaining research related databases, project management, and patient recruitment and, managing clinical study budgets. I have a Masters Degree in Public Health and a Clinical Research Associate Certificate from Krieger Research International.
Within the span of my clinical research career I have managed to acquire experience and knowledge in:
· Clinical research coordination, Research Ethics, ICH-GCP, Regulatory principles from FDA and Health Canada, Monitoring Research Budgets and justification.
· Site selection and recruitment of Investigators for participation in clinical trials
· Preparation of study start-up documents including 1572s, CVs, Clinical Study Agreement (CSA) and amendments, investigator study files, enrollment logs
· Market trends and grant /funding opportunities
· Knowledge and certification in cGMP, cGLP, MRPII
· Knowledge and trained in: Health promotion, Health administration, Program Evaluation and Needs-Assessment, Epidemiology, Quality management and Health services planning and evaluation, Health Statistics, Health Research Methodology.
