Description:
Faded Red Gibson Les Paul Special Double Cutaway with P90s - $900ono
Looking to trade a faded red Les Paul Special double cutaway complete with P90s. Hardware includes chrome tune-o-matic bridge and stop tail bridge. The only modification that has been made is to replace the strap buttons with chrome locking ones. What is interesting is that this guitar was fitted from factory with the regular Gibson deluxe tuners as oppose to the plastic ones. When I bought this guitar I tried about three of the same in the store and bought this one as the neck is beautiful to play and the whole guitar just sings. The neck is a slim '60s style neck that is not too fat or too thin and has 22 frets. This particular one has been used on a number of recordings and sounds great. The P90s in the body are capable of full of tone and have the capability to cut through live or to be warm without sounding woolly. The bottom end sounds great!
The guitar comes complete with hardshell case and is in great condition. I have been the only owner of this guitar. The serial number is 03263301 which dates it as being made in 2003.
The red satin finish is very even and smooth and is made from nitrocellulose laquer giving it a classic feel and maintaining the tone of the guitar.
I am looking to sell or trade with an acoustic or a vintage analogue synth that is in full working condition of a similar value of $900 ono. I am ideally looking for a Guild GAD 50 plus cash in exchange for it.
Please note that picture is not of the actual guitar as I don't own a digital camera! Sorry!
