A newer CP (LP) head is actually more like a traditional djembe head than the original and is goat skin as well. This is a gorgeous drum outfitted with the famous LP Comfort Curve® II Rims with great tones, slaps and bass. With modern mechanical, key- tuning, this baby is crafted of premium, kiln dried, North American Ash. With a 12-1/2" head, its traditional shell contour and 25" height allow the djembe to be played standing with a strap, seated, or on a stand with congas. LP’s special finishing process brings out the deep, rich grain of the wood under a high-gloss shine. Includes brand new carrying case (This drum w/bag retails around town at $760+.)
