We offer clients a full array of financial solutions to meet their needs including education savings plans, life and disability insurance, and investments in mutual funds, securities, bonds and other financial services.Key Accountabilities:The successful sales manager will oversee sales, training and development, client service issues, regulatory issues relating to compliance and will also provide day-to-day administrative support to the sales team.Major Responsibilities:Developing new sales representatives and ensuring that they have completed the Global exam, have received the proper training and have obtained licensingMeeting production and activity standard targets as outlined by management by generating salesthrough sales representativesProviding regulatory guidance and licensing assistance for new and existing sales reps/managers for various branches and submitting copies of the enrollment application to the ProvincialCompliance Officer (PCO) on a timely basisMaintaining and updating on a weekly basis status of newly licensed reps as well as monitoring attendance of reps at all training sessions and supervision meetingsReviewing all applications for new licensees on a daily basisEnsuring strict compliance with internal and regulatory body policies and procedures – this includes obtaining approval on all advertising from compliance departmentProviding customer service to clients at the branch level and maintaining a client complaint logConducting monthly branch meetingsProviding general administrative support to sales team including commission and material guidanceSubmitting monthly and quarterly reports to PCO RequirementsCompletion of secondary education requiredDirect sales experience in financial services an assetMust be licensed to sell RESPsMay be required to take other courses or acquire other licensesComputer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Knowledge of another language an assetCompetencies and Attributes:Excellent communication, presentation and networking skillsResults and goal oriented with strong follow through skillsExceptional interpersonal skills and enjoys working with diverse groups of peopleStrong organization and time management skillsAbility to anticipate and adapt quickly to changing needs and environmentTeam playerHighly professional with a strong work ethicGlobal offers:Perfomance based with bonus and/or commissionsCareer advancement opportunitiesProfessional Development and mentoringParticipation in incentives and rewards programOur company is growing and it is an exciting time to be a part of our family, we'd love to have you join our team and help make GLOBAL the recognized leader in providing RESP solutions for all Canadians.
