THIS DENTAL CHECK UP IS FREE OF CHARGE TO YOU, GREAT FOR STUDENTS OR PERSONS WITHOUT INSURANCE...
Some IMPORTANT information about the appointment:
- each appointment is about 2 and 1/2 hours long
- depending on your oral health status, you may require multiple appointments, but I can ASSURE you it is well worth the time it takes
- every phase of the appointment is over seen/evaluated by an instructor (either a registered dental hygienist or a dentist)
- I myself actually have a fear of dental visits, so I can assure you the appointment will be easy (if you are the kind of person that is weary of the dental office)
- the clinic is located in the heart of toronto, at Yonge and Bloor
Unlike a regular dental visit, this visit is EXTREMELY comprehensive! It will include:
- An examination of the head and neck area
- An appraisal of the lips/cheeks
- An assessment of the gums
- Measurement of "periodontal pockets", which is the area between the gums and enamel of the tooth to asses for bone loss, etc.
- Radiographs/Xrays (as required)
- Your plaque score
- Oral hygiene assessment (of at home care regimen)
- Oral hygiene instruction
- Scaling/Deplaquing of the ENTIRE mouth
- Fluoride Treatment
And as required it will include:
- Polishing
- Nutritional Counselling
- Tabacco Cessation Information
- Mouthguards/Nightguards ($)
- Whitening ($)
I am in the clinic on Tuesdays and Fridays from 8am-11am, or Mondays from 4pm-7pm!
