Description:
I need a junior bookkeeper to assist with in-house data entry for my bookkeeping clients, and also some data entry for my books.
The office is located in AJAX, in the Brock and Hwy #401 area. You will require your own transportation.
Requirements:
- flawless written and spoken English
- minimum 12 full months of full time, full-cycle Canadian bookeeping experience
- familiarity with accounts payable & receivable invoicing, cash receipts, job costing, GST and payroll
- bookkeeping or accounting certificate from accredited Canadian post-secondary institution (NO career colleges)
- familiarity with QuickBooks (must know the basics)
- familiarity with basic office procedures (telephone answering, photocopying, faxing, filing)
- own vehicle and valid Ontario drivers license (abstract may be requested)
This is a PART TIME, JUNIOR level CONTRACT position. We are not offering employment. The successful candidate will provide invoices. There is no guarantee of any number of hours of work.
