Hard wood,Red wood with a black trim on both top and bottom with glass shelves and doors...the left side compartment holds movies while the far right side holds cd's. The unit can be kept as one or separated into three parts. As seen on picture the unit can hold many of your personal items. Also please note that the section of glass on the far left and the middle of the unit can be lit up as it has a light bulb in the back...this unit looks beautiful at night. I love it but must sell.
