Kabuki and Paddy Paws Face Eviction



Cause 4 Paws seeks a foster or permanent adoptive home for Kabuki and Paddy Paws, two adult male cats, whose present foster mom is moving into a building where cats are not allowed. As much as she loves them, she cannot take them with her. We also seek a foster home for Caramel, a cat we wish to take in from the cold, barren back-alleys of Lachine, as well as funding for Styrofoam shelters to house outdoor, feral and otherwise abandoned homeless cats for the winter. Paddy Paws (short hair beige)



"Hi, I'm Paddy Paws. I'm about 5 years old, a lovely soft beige and white male. I had been accustomed to being the only cat in the household, but now I get along with the other cat in my foster home, Kabuki. I was turned over to Cause 4 Paws reluctantly because my owners were moving to England, and I would have had to be in quarantine for six months. I am affectionate, adaptable, and love to play and cuddle. There also was a very pretty young lady in our foster home named Sparrow, but she has been adopted, and I miss her companionship very much."



Kabuki (black cat)



Kabuki: “I’m Cause 4 Paws 1,200$ cat! That’s how much it cost the man who rescued me. But I’m worth it! I was found sick and injured in a parking lot in Laval. But I’m perfectly healthy and happy now, and am available for the same adoption fee as any other Cause 4 Paws cat. This does not mean I’m not special, however. Of course I am. I’m an entertainer, a performer, an actor. I was named for a form of Japanese theatre known for its high degree of stylization, and elaborate make-up and costumes. I’m a beautiful black male with a white crest on my chest. At present I am Paddy Paws roommate."



Caramel: (Orange cat)
"Hi, I'm Caramel, and I'm not as lucky as these other cats. You see, I live outside in the streets and back-alleys of Lachine. Cause 4 Paws is going to rescue me, and have me vaccinated and neutered, but first they need a foster home to place me in. I once was somebody's pet, but was abandoned, and don't know how I'll make through the cold winter ahead. It is already very cold and raw outside, and the night air chills me to the bone. I'm sol lonely I could cry. As you see, I am very beautiful when the sunlight shines upon my fur. Will you volunteer to give me a home, at least until a permanent home can be found?"

Cause 4 Paws Adoption day for beautiful, gentle cats & kittens on Oct. 20 from noon to 4 p.m. At Multi-Menu, 9760 Gouin W., Pierrefonds. Cats have been sterilized, vaccinated, treated for parasites, & those rescued from outside have been blood-tested for infectious diseases such as FIV and leukemia. All are in excellent health, & the veterinary record is included.
