SHOWCASE YOUR FULL TALENT BY REGISTERING FOR THE 2008 SUMMER MUSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOP WITH STUDIO BELCANTO
“SIX WEEKS TO DISCOVER YOUR REAL POTENTIAL AS A MUSICAL PERFORMER THROUGH A SPECIAL MUSICAL THEATRE WORKHOP”
DATES: Every Sunday from August 17th to September 21, 2008
TIME: 14:00-17:00
LOCATION: Maison des Arts de Laval, 1395 boulevard de la Concorde Ouest, Laval, H7N 5W1 (Metro Concorde)
Musical Theatre Workshop: A comprehensive class combining acting, singing, character development and audition techniques. Sharpen your skills, study your craft and learn how to flourish as a strong ensemble member and solo performer. A public performance on the final day of the workshop will allow students to showcase their skills. Outside preparation will be required.
Program Dates
- The 2008 Musical Theatre Workshop will start on August 17, 2008.
- The workshop includes 16 hours of training during a six-week program and a public performance at the end of the workshops.
Application and Audition Procedures
- The application deadline is August 15th and auditions (for classification only) will be held at the Studio Belcanto on Sunday August 17, 2008.
- All applicants are asked to prepare two songs, one up-tempo and one ballad.
Fees
- Workshop tuition: $295.00 taxes included and non refundable.
The students will have to make their payment by cash or check, dated August 17, to the order of Studio Belcanto before the audition.
