Description:
1optimum has launched “Recycle Your Cell-Phone for Sun Youth”. Cell phone collection officially starts on the 1st of April 2008 and finishes the 1st of May 2008. We're really excited by the response we've been getting but we still need help!
We are looking for businesses whom we can promote as drop-off locations when we are contacting media.
Good locations are ones that are close to Metros, Schools, Gas Stations, Community organizations, Churches Etc.

The other way to participate is by pledging your support.
We are asking for pledges of XX per phone where $0.25 is equal to $500.00 based on our goal of 2000 phones.
We cap your pledge at 2000 phones so a pledge of $0.25 is always no more than $500.00.
As of March 5 2008 we are at $2.22 per cell phone or $4440.00.
100% of this money goes to Sun Youth and a tax receipt for all donations will be provided.
This encourages people to recycle their phones and it also supports Sun Youth.
