Magnificent original 1977 Mercedes 450 SL roadster with both tops - it runs and drives like new. This gorgeous classic has only 44,000 original miles! This car is of interest to a collector or connoisseur - it is in top shape and completely un-restored with most of its original parts. The original canary yellow paint is virtually scratch free, has almost no dings on exterior surfaces and no sun damage. The rare color stands out wherever you go. The car has been in the family since it was bought in 1977. It was purchased directly from the factory in Germany, but it is a US model.
For 20 years it was kept in Cannes, France, most of the time in a garage. The car was brought to Canada in 1996 and spent the next 13 years in a garage being driven very lightly (4,000 miles) and never in the winter. The car is absolutely rust free and the body is in virgin shape (no accidents)!. The seats are like new with no rips, tears, or discoloration, carpets are in perfect conditions. The original soft-top is like new since it was almost never put up. The trunk compartment is immaculate and the original dash is in perfect condition. The engine and transmission are in perfect shape and the car drives down the highway wonderfully. Two minor points, the A/C does not work because of a small crack in the original pump and there is a small crack in the back window of the hardtop.
