Description:
Le GRAME, (Groupe de recherche appliquée en macroécologie) are currently looking for
unemployed participants 16-30 years of age for a community project in environmental protection
in collaboration with Carrefour jeunesse-emploi de Marquette and the government of Canada.
-You are looking for an opportunity to get back into the job market or return
to school.
-You are interested in the environment.
-You would like to help sensitize the borough of Lachine/St-Pierre on the importance of recycling
and environmental protection.
You could be the ideal candidate for this type of project.
Contract: 27 weeks starting May 26th, 2008.
Allowance: $8,50 an hour, 35 hours a week.
Eligibility: Be between the ages of 16 and 30.
Be in need of assistance to overcome employment barriers.
Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or have refugee status.
Be out of school.
Be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Not be receiving Employment Insurance (EI) benefits.
Be able to commute and work in Lachine/St-Pierre.
The participants selected for this program will partake in activities sensitizing them to environmental
issues, will promote recycling in Lachine/St-Pierre and will participate in community gardens.
Participants will also have the opportunity to follow personal development and dynamic methods of
job search workshops.
