Wanted : apartment dog

hi, i'm looking for a small dog. i live in a three and a half and it's time i get a friend in here with me. i'm allergic to animals who don't have hair and who have long fur, short hair like mini pinchers havent made me react thus far.....

So this is my search criteria: i want a SMALL dog. A dog that remains smaller than most dogs even as it gets older, either bald or with hair (NO LONG FUR)

a shihpoo, would be awesome, or a teacup poodle, havaneese, mini pincher or a chiuahuah( mini/toy breeds).

I want a small dog that would be happy running around my apartment, and who wont get spooked by every little noise it hears since... i live in an apartment complex.

i've been living in my apartment for 5 plus years and it is a pet friendly complex. i live close to three dogwalk parks, I'm a student and i live on my own/no roomies, I like taking walks myself and just takin it easy at home, so i am not down with a high strung fidgety barkie type of dog.

Eventhouhg I am a student, i take online courses so, i'm home ALL the time.

I will not buy or take a dog without seeing and hangin out with it first. not only do i want the breed to be right, i want to make sure this is a right fit.
