Description:
In your own home, using your computer, I can offer basic lessons on how to use your computer and can help to solve some of the basic problems you may be encountering.
Some possibilities:
- How to write letters, and send them using the internet,
- how to send and receive emails and how to set up your email service with Telus, Shaw, or some of the free services like hotmail and google;
- how to make up an invoice
- how to set up free internet telephone using Skype or other services
- basic problem solving, like setting up an anti-virus program (the best ones are sometimes free!)
I am great with Seniors and very patient. (kinda senior myself...) I have been using computers for many years and am not a programmer or technical wizard, but I know many tricks and am very familiar with Microsoft office programs (word and excel especially) and various browsers and email programs (including Outlook and Outlook Express).
If you have a question, let's talk. If you think I can help, we can set up a time. I prefer to use your computer, because that will help you to become familiar with it.
