Well Established, Well Organized South West Houston Lawn Service For Sale:
If you’re looking to be your own boss or start your own business or just looking to add to your existing lawn service, this could be a great opportunity for you.
Currently servicing about 70 customers most of which are on yearly maintenance agreements. Maintenance agreements consist of a regular mow schedule plus extra work such as weeding, trimming bushes, mulch, fertilizer, flowers and so on. All customers are on a set mowing schedule for the year, 40 mows per year. 1 time Jan, Feb. & Mar. Bi-Weekly, April-Sept is weekly, Oct.Nov.Dec. Bi-Weekly. So there is no question as to who gets what at what time of year. All extra work to be performed is in written agreements that I have on paper and on the computer. 90% of the customers are billed. The others leave a check at the time of service. I have a billing system set up on the computer which is extremely easy to understand. All maintenance agreement customers are billed the same amount each month. We take the yearly total for all work to be performed and divide by 12 and that’s their monthly payment. The mowing schedule is Tuesday – Friday. I have always left Mondays open for Misc. and extras. The schedule is well organized for efficiency and reducing unnecessary travel time. I have a 12 ft tandem trailer, 32”lesco walk behind mower, a couple of 21”commercial Toro mowers, Echo stick edger, A few Echo weed eaters, Echo back pack blower, Sod cutter, many misc. shovels, rakes and hand tools. I have two full time employees which know the schedule from top to bottom. Would be the new owner’s decision on whether they would be beneficial to the business. This is a turnkey deal; everything is in place for a smooth transfer. Last year the lawn service did approximately 75K, that’s not including cash deals. That’s also letting it go on auto pilot and not really pursuing extra work. I also have prepaid advertising in the Krenek newsletter through September in the Katy Area. I have a truck that is NOT included in the sale but can be purchased for an additional cost. I am willing to make a deal on the truck if you purchase the business. There is also a website that I am willing to let go with the sale but that will be up to the new owner on whether they want to use it or not. I am asking 30K for this turnkey business, which I think could easily pay for itself in no time.
