Volunteers Needed!
The Lady Hammond Learning Program is looking for volunteers to help our adult learners gain the skills they want for their future. We teach some basic skills and also pre-GED skills. The volunteers do not have to be experts. While our subject areas are math, English, science, and social studies, we encourage the development of study skills and more independent learning skills. The primary strength needed of our tutors is to be good learners and problem solvers so that they can model good skills for their learners.
