Description:
In your marketplace you will have the opportunity to create, implement, and track marketing campaigns that maximize awareness of SONY BMG releases. You will act as a liaison between SONY BMG and a variety of different on campus media outlets.
Job Requirements
• Ability to strategically create and develop local market campaigns, monitor workload and execute initiatives independently from conception through completion.
• Networking to develop and maintain key relationships with influential individuals with your local campus newspapers, campus radio stations, and other entertainment and student organizations.
• Knowledge of campus and online internet communities.
• Experience in the planning, coordination and execution of large and small events.
• Non-genre specific approach to music, and open-minded to learning and exploring different types of music cultures.
• Recruit, train, and supervise a group of interns to create enthusiasm and focus for marketing programs both lifestyle and online.
• Must have a Computer with internet access, valid driver’s license and regular access to a car.
qualifications
• University degree in Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience
• Strong leadership skills
• Self-directed and typically enjoy working in a flexible, non-traditional schedule.
• High energy level, enjoy working with, motivating, and getting people enthusiastic about SONY BMG releases.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects with changing priorities.
• Capacity to analyze and report trends, and provide concise and up-to-date feedback information to management.
