Position Summary
Customer Care Specialists provide courteous, quality service to retail pharmacies located throughout Western Canada. As a Customer Care Specialist, you are the first point of contact for our customers and play a critical role in ensuring our customers have a positive experience with McKesson Canada. You will be responsible for building rapport and assisting our customers with their product orders, answering their questions and providing prompt resolution to any potential concerns.

Position Requirements
Technical Knowledge & Experience:
A minimum of one year of customer service experience - call centre experience is a definite asset
Exceptional telephone etiquette coupled with active listening skills
Fluent in the English language oral and written
Proficient computer navigation and keyboarding skills (minimum of 40 w.p.m.) -
Experience with PCs, Lotus Notes and IBMs AS/400 an asset but will train the right candidate
Vehicle is an asset as bus schedule is not frequent in area- assigned parking available
Interpersonal Skills & Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with clients and colleagues
Demonstrated ability to represent the company in a professional manner
Ability to solve problems and resolve customer concerns in a timely manner
Sound decision-making skills and ability to prioritize a multitude of tasks
Demonstrated reliability in punctuality and attendance
Hours of Work:
Part- time applicants will be scheduled 4- 6 hours per day or evening
Full- time applicants scheduled Sunday-Thursday or Monday -Friday for 8 hours with two paid breaks
An average of 22 hours per week is required to be eligible for full benefits after three months
No rotating shifts- same scheduled days off each week
Must be available to attend 2 weeks of paid training Mon-Frid 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting April 21, 2008.
