I have two Lion Head Rabbits who will be 1 year and 3 mths old on May 29th/07. Both are
missing the lion's mane. The salespeople at Petland said it is a genetic quirk. Both were bought at Petland and I have the receipt. Each cost me $25.00. Then I bought a huge cage worth close to $90.00 for one and a smaller cage for $40.00 for the other. They are brothers, not fixed and need to be separated while still being in the same vicinity of each other. I will sell them separately if the buyer is planning on getting a guinea pig or another rabbit to keep each one company. They need companionship or they will die. These rabbits are much loved family pets and the only reason we are selling them is because we have to move. I will include the cages in the price. As well as one water bottle, dish, and two litter boxes, the left over food and a book on rabbits worth $15.00. Each Rabbit if sold separately will cost $50 including cage etc and $90 including cage etc., respectively. If bought together, I will sell them for $135, including cages etc. If you have any questions about rabbits as pets (such as care, maintenance, compatibility, children, feeding etc.) before purchasing them, please ask, as I will only sell these rabbits to good homes, and only to people in Calgary and the surrounding areas.
